The rise of robotic technology continues to grow, but there are severe limitations with robotic development lifecycles. The current use of object-oriented languages focuses only on complex robotic run-time task automation.
The next generation of robots will be AGI avatars capable of making run time decisions prior to action. The source of avatar programming will be performed by human experts who can define their activity processes. These processes are captured in graphical models which are then automatically converted using the DADA X platform.
Modularity is beneficial for AGIs because it allows them to integrate various specialized components. Integrating a natural language processing component, a computer vision component, and a robotics component would allow the AGI to understand natural language, see the world, and interact with objects in the world.
